CEMEGOL 104 is an acidic light etch cleaner for aluminium which effectively combines the functions of clean, de-oxidise, etch and de-smut stages in one operation.
CEMEGOL 104 is can be used cold and does not generate fumes or caustic spray into the working environment. It is low foaming in use.
A uniform matt finish is produced over a wide concentration range with a low level of metal removal. This low metal removal rate conserves product. Solutions of CEMEGOL 104 lead to large savings in energy, compared with caustic etchants. CEMEGOL 104 is a clear, colourless, acidic liquid.
