Description
CEMEGOL T 7221 will attack aluminium but is suitable for treating light metal alloys, their major content being magnesium.
These alloys should be dried quickly after rinsing, as they are sensitive to water.
Copper and copper alloys should be treated for short periods only in CEMEGOL T 7221 solutions.
Recommended concentration is 0,5 – 2,0% and the temperature should be a minimum of 50°C otherwise foaming may occur.
The time of treatment will be dependent on the degree of dirt to be removed but normally 1 – 5 minutes is sufficient.
